Using SottoWrite

By creating an account, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13 years old to use SottoWrite. You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

Your content

Everything you write in SottoWrite belongs to you. We don’t claim any ownership or intellectual property rights over your scripts. You can export and delete your work at any time.

We need a limited license to host and display your content back to you (and to your collaborators, if you invite them). That’s it — we won’t use your scripts for anything else.

What you agree not to do

• — Abuse, overload, or interfere with the service
• — Use SottoWrite for anything illegal
• — Attempt to access other users’ accounts or data
• — Reverse-engineer or scrape the service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We’ll try to give you a heads-up first, unless the situation is urgent.

Payments & Pro

SottoWrite is free for one script up to 25 pages. Pro costs 99¢/month and unlocks unlimited pages and collaboration. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

You can cancel anytime. If you cancel, you keep Pro access until the end of your billing period. We don’t offer refunds for partial months, but if something goes wrong, email us and we’ll make it right.

Availability

We do our best to keep SottoWrite available around the clock, but we can’t guarantee 100% uptime. Things break sometimes. We won’t be liable for any lost work due to outages, though we’ll always work to resolve issues as quickly as possible.

We strongly recommend exporting backups of important scripts regularly.

Limitation of liability

SottoWrite is provided “as is”. We make no warranties, express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you’ve paid us in the 12 months before the claim — which for most users is $11.88 or less.

Changes to these terms

If we make meaningful changes, we’ll notify you via email. Continued use of SottoWrite after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
